Resonate Studio is an Oxford-based film and video studio. We bring ideas to life with cinematic images, and make work that communicates honestly and powerfully.
We’re a unique business that works in collaboration with other agencies.
To us, creativity is about collaboration. Our network includes in-house teams, production companies, post-houses, and creative agencies – and a large pool of freelance directors, producers, editors, cinematographers, graphic designers, illustrators, animators. We love to shoot, edit, or produce, and our clients can handpick the services they need!
We can make a big impact on your project – and our structure allows us to be competitive, collaborative, and flexible.
Working with us means you can choose the services that work for your production – whether it’s just cinematography, or post-production, or end-to-end full production. That means we can just take on the cinematography, or manage post-production on something we didn’t shoot or produce. When it comes to full production it depends on the scale of the project, and we will always connect and collaborate with a larger production company if required.

TOKYO at the Ashmolean. Resonate was commisioned to make this documenarty about the Ashmolean’s major exhibition TOKYO: ART & PHOTOGRAPHY
This major exhibition was a celebration of one of the world’s most creative, dynamic and thrilling cities. We explored Japan’s capital city through the vibrant arts it has generated over 400 years. According to legend, an elaborate labyrinth was built at Knossos on the island of Crete to hold a ferocious Minotaur. Resonate studio created a series of trailers for the Ashmolean Museum to unveil its forthcoming major exhibition opening on 10 Feb 2023.
